How important do you feel a Centerpiece is to your Dining Table? Suddenly the other day, I was walking past my dining table and thought, what was I thinking?! I know my style and the Decor styles that I am attracted to, and the table centerpiece was not speaking to me at all. It should be glamorous, eye-catching, romantic! So I headed to Michael’s in search of pieces necessary to make a GLAM centerpiece!
I wanted a glam centerpiece to add something eye-catching to the center of the first level. Here’s what the table looked like before…..
Now by no means was it “horrible”. However, nothing about it was…deliberate.
First off, I love these Lanterns. I’ve had them for a few years now. Check out this post for more about them. So I knew I wanted it in the center of the table.
Here are Links to everything used:
- Beveled Rectangular Mirrors
- Large Cylinder Vase (Flower Arrangements)
- Pillar Candles Vases
- Cream Peonies
- Cream Magnolias
- Cabbage Rose
- White Rose
- Center Pillar Candle
I could not find the end Bejeweled candle holders, however here is beautiful option that gives a similar effect. I used a Crushed Glass Filler for the flower arrangements. That was also purchased from Michaels but I can not find it on the site, so here is a similar option. The other candles used were purchased from WalMart.
I’ve become really into making my own flower arrangements. I typically use faux flowers so I can have them up year-round. I would suggest stocking up on faux flowers at Michael’s right now. They are having a 40% off sale on all of their Fall Stems. No this is not sponsored, 😉 but these flowers are just beautiful and get to be pricey when your buying in bulk.
I purchased about 20. I would rather have more than I need, than not enough.
I’m in love with how this came out! Everyone that has seen it remarks on how fabulous it is, and, it relatively affordable. Everything purchased from Michael’s came to a little over $200. With the discount they’re offering right now, I paid $170.
Tell me what you think! I would love to see your Glam Centerpiece! Follow me on Instagram and tag me or DM me photos of your own. I’ll post my favorite on Instagram!
