My updated Living Room. I didn’t realize how many changes I’ve made to my living room, since my last post about it, until I took these photos. Everything is new or changed, other than the sofa, coffee table itself, and the Tv Stand/Fireplace. Check out my first Living Room post here.
Due to the layout of my home, I have a very narrow floor plan to work with. The openness of the room allows for it to still feel very roomy. I might have been able to maximize the space by going with two smaller scale sofa’s. However, I wanted the coziness and aesthetics of a sectional more than extra walking space.
Ever since I mounted the tv on the main wall of the living room, I had visions of this wall as a focal point. The different artwork I could hang, etc. Originally I wanted to hang two large mirrors, one on either side of the tv. Ultimately I went against that because the coat closet has floor to ceiling mirrors.
Accent Tables
I looked for 7 ft Portrait orientated art sets for months to flank the television, and that proved incredibly difficult to find. Finally one day it dawned on me…..Accent tables. Duhhh. A way to fill up the empty space of the wall, and provide for more decorative spaces and storage! If you love these Accent Tables, I purchased them from Wayfair. Once they arrived, I noticed that they did not match the shade of white that my tv stand was, so I painted them all Polar Bear White by Behr. A very time-consuming project, due to all of the intricate designs on the cabinet doors, but well worth it.
Wall Art
Next was the art. I had searched for Canvases for months as well. I am not a fan of unframed canvases. In certain spaces, I feel that it’s better to have a framed canvas or just a framed print of some sort. Framed canvases provide a more polished aesthetic. Framed canvases, at dimensions that I needed and in the style that I like were few and far between.
I’d had my eye on Desenio prints for a while. I liked that they had large dimension frames available and a large collection of prints to go with them. I ended up going with these FRAMES and prints 1 & 2. The frame’s that I went with were 70x100cm or 28×39 inches. The prints were also 70×100. I get bored quickly when it comes to art, so I like the fact then when I am tired of these prints, I can simply switch them out for new ones instead of having to purchase a completely new piece.
Ball Vases
I’m going to just post links of all of the decor items following the blurb, but, I needed to take a moment for these vases. I’m obsessed with them. I looked for ball vases high and low after seeing these for the first time. Why? Because they were on the pricier side, and they are made in Sweden. I like things on sale and close to home so I can get them fast! But after searching for literally hours for a comparable dupe, I gave in. They are my favorite decor item that I purchased for this room, hands down. You can purchase them here. I purchased them in the 20cm. The faux Orchids I used to fill them can be found here and here.

My desire for this living room is for it to be a beautiful, dreamy, cozy space that you can’t stay awake in 😊 If I missed anything that you’re interested in knowing about, let me know that as well. Until next time…..xoxo

Hallo, wo hast du die TV-Schränke gekauft? Ich frage mich, ob ich diesen TV-Schrank in Deutschland finden kann ☺️
When I saw your updated living room it took my breath away! I have a similar look in our living room, but that TV stand the two cabinets on each side just complete the look. I loved these so much I had to order them. So Beautiful! Thanks so much for your post.
